About the Assembly Executive

The Assembly Executive is the executive body which meets once a year to review and continue of work of the General Assembly. Formerly called Mission Council, its name was changed to Assembly Executive in 2021.

It has several standing advisory groups:

• Ministerial Incapacity and Discipline Advisory Group
• Listed Buildings Advisory Group
• Safeguarding Advisory Group
• Law and Polity Advisory Group
